Simon Evans and Tim Blackmore OBE have been named as traffic commissioners (TCs) for the North West and North East respectively. Evans (pictured top), deputy TC for the North West, will replace Beverley Bell as North West TC when she leaves this spring. Bell will also vacate her position as senior TC, but her replacement has not yet been named.
