DHL Supply Chain has signed what it describes as a ‘new three-year contract’ to provide aftermarket services to over 200 authorised repairers and retailers for Toyota and Lexus across the country.

The deal will see DHL distribute over 200,000 lines for the automotive brands, with deliveries being conducted overnight so dealerships can receive parts before 8am.

Martin Dougherty, vice-president of business development, automotive, at DHL Supply Chain said: “As the automotive aftermarket grows more complex, so too do the logistics challenges involved. We are looking forward to working closely with Toyota to deliver innovation and increased efficiencies over the next three years.”

This year DHL has renewed its contracts with Debenhams and Compass Group in its Supply Chain division.
