DHL Supply Chain has signed a five-year deal with contract catering giant Compass Group.
The new deal will see DHL deliver product to Compass’s retail outlets in train stations and airports across the country.
DHL will also provide waste management services on its return leg.

While the contract is currently for a five-year partnership, a spokeswoman for DHL said the two companies had a “joint ambition to work together over the long-term”.
Andrew Barry, MD of business & industry at Compass Group UK and Ireland, said: “This partnership allows us to stay true to our core focus and expertise of food service whilst building on DHL’s strong existing customer base in the Passenger Gateways sector.
“We will use our respective key strengths to bring a new level of service and innovation to current and future clients in this market.”
