Irish operator Nolan Transport has bought John Raymond Transport, with a view to growing its UK operation. Welsh firm John Raymond Transport, which has sites in Bridgend, Cannock and Swindon and was established in 1953, is a gold Fors member and runs 135 vehicles and 350 trailers. Irish delivery firm Nightline has stepped in to handle most of the express parcels work that had been handled by Target Express prior to its collapse.
