Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has revealed a first-half consolidated revenue increase of 13.3% to €1.9bn (up from €1.7bn in the same period last year) despite struggling with volumes. Like-for-like growth remained flat, dipping by 0.2% compared with H1 2011, which ND attributes to a sharply deteriorating European economy during the second quarter. Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has announced the appointment of Phil Shaw as MD of its UK logistics business. The move follows the recent appointment of former UK logistics business MD Malcolm Wilson as MD of the group’s logistics division. Shaw was previously director of ND’s packed chemicals and manufacturing business unit in the UK. More recently he worked in the Middle East as operations director in a joint venture with Danone.
