Abbey Logistics has taken delivery of the UK’s first Daf CF Silent to work on its British Salt contract making early morning and evening deliveries into the capital. Featuring Daf’s Silent Mode technology, the urban tractor and Felbinder command-steer tanker combination is said to provide a high degree of manoeuvrability in city centre locations delivering to London’s hospitals, restaurants and hotels.
