Boughey Distribution parent NWF Group has revealed that its pre-tax profit fell by a third, despite a 16% increase in revenue. Revenue rose to £540.2m for the year-ending 31 May, up from £463.8m 2011. However pre-tax profit dropped to £5.1m, compared to £7.6m in the previous financial year. Profit fell at Kuehne + Nagel’s road and rail logistics division in the first half of 2013, compared to the same period in 2012, although it predicted a stronger second half-year performance.
