Bob Lowden Iveco

Bob Lowden has been appointed as UK MD at Iveco, succeeding Claudio Zanframundo.

Lowden returns to the UK after three years heading up the truck manufacturer’s business in South Africa.

In his new role Lowden will focus on increasing Iveco’s market share and volume in the UK and Ireland. He also aims to further establish the new Iveco Daily in the UK, which was awarded the International Van of the Year 2015 title.

He said: “We will be putting renewed focus on the heavy truck sector, to take advantage of the impressive fuel returns and great customer feedback we are getting from Stralis at Euro-6.It is also our intention to maintain our market-leading position with Eurocargo.”

Lowden joined Iveco in a fleet development role in 1990. Before taking up his role in South Africa, he held the position of customer service director at Iveco in the UK and served as dealer network director in the four years prior to that.
