Richard Fleming, logistics director at Sainsbury’s has been confirmed as a keynote speaker at the Quiet Cities global summit next month. Wincanton has renewed its long-standing contract with Sainsbury’s, in a deal that will see the companies’ relationship reach the 25 year mark.
Wincanton will be back in the black this financial year as the group’s extensive restructuring and disposals programme bears fruit. Wincanton chief executive Eric Born tells MT: “When [we] started this programme we said it would take two years to arrest the decline. We are bang on track.
