Amazon has announced plans to create 1,000 new permanent roles at its network of eight UK fulfilment centres in the “coming months”. Clipper Logistics has won a contract to manage the supply chain for fashion, fabrics and homeware brand Cabbages & Roses from its Enfield shared-user site.
Two-person delivery company ArrowXL is trialling an extension to its established Highland service with Argos which will see customers on the main Scottish islands – including Shetland – able to order large items for home delivery from the online retailer on an available day of their choice at prices matching the rest of the UK.
