Former national fleet manager at Coca Cola Enterprises, Darren O’Donnell, has joined contract hire and fleet management firm CVL as commercial manager.
O’Donnell, who was shortlisted for the Fleet Engineer of the Year award at the 2011 and 2012 Motor Transport Awards, has joined the Leeds-based firm’s senior management team.
He will be responsible in his new role for the management of its operational key account management team and its maintenance procurement spend.
Commenting on his appointment, O’Donnell said: “I have worked closely with CVL for a number of years as they’ve been the prominent supplier to Coca Cola Enterprises on their commercial vehicle fleet. I know the people, I know the culture and I know how high the standards are at CVL, this made my decision all the easier to join a very successful business with a forward thinking team.”
