Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has won a new three-year contract with motor fuels supplier Harvest Energy. Commencing in May, ND will use a dedicated fleet of vehicles to distribute fuel to commercial and retail outlets across the UK. The chancellor has frozen fuel duty in his Autumn Statement today, meaning the scheduled rises scheduled for January and April next year will no longer take place. George Osborne gave no hint of a cut but said fuel would only see “inflation only rises” until September – effectively meaning the April 2013 increase has been deferred to 1 September 2013. Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has promoted former change director John Williams to the role of director of its shared user business unit. Williams, who has worked in the past for Keystone Distribution, Random House Group and Christian Salvesen joined ND less than a year ago. He takes on responsibility for a portfolio of 10-shared user warehouses totalling 2.5 million ft².
