Palletline, The Pallet Network (TPN) and Gazeley are set to exhibit at next month’s Multimodal for the first time, joining some of the UK’s largest operators.

Exhibitors already confirmed for the show, hosted at the Birmingham NEC, include Howard Tenens, Malcolm Logistics, Wincanton, DP World, Dachser, Maritime and Ceva.

Howard Tenens, which will be exhibiting at stand 430 this year, said the show has helped it win new business in previous years, including contracts with Costa Express and BSW Timber.

Jamie Hartles, commercial and marketing director, at Howard Tenens, said: “We are looking forward to another exciting exhibition this year with anticipated attendance growth. Multimodal is an excellent way to meet new customers, showcase Howard Tenens and gauge current logistics industry performance and best practice through the seminar offering.”

Attendees are also invited to take part in seminars hosted by the CILT and the FTA, which will look at the supply chain operations carried out by The Co-operative, Asda and Sainsbury’s, among others.

Complimentary meeting areas are also available in the Shippers’ Village, with Boots, Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Steel among those already signed up to meet with shippers.

Multimodal attendees will receive free access to this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show, which also takes place at the NEC.

Multimodal takes place between 29 April and 1 May 2014.
