Jaupt has had its contract to manage the Driver CPC extended by two years.
A spokesperson for the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), formerly Vosa and the DSA, confirmed that a tendering process for the future management of training and accreditation services had begun earlier this year as the contract was set to expire in April 2014.
"However, following DSA’s merger with Vosa to become DVSA, the new agency needs to look at the work that is being brought together and identify any additional requirements that a future contract may need to include. The decision has therefore been taken to extend the existing contract with Jaupt for a further two years while this work takes place."
