Stobart Group saw turnover in its core transport and distribution division climb in the first half of its financial year despite “considerable demand volatility”, although profit was flat. Hermes has revealed record results at its UK division, with revenue up 22% in 2011. The parcels company says this reinforces its position as the country’s second-largest home-delivery business. Revenue stood at €303m during 2011, up from €248m in the previous year.
