For the past two years, Vosa officers in north-east Scotland have been advising haulage firms to use independent straps and ratchets to secure fertiliser bags to trailers. Construction products manufacturer British Gypsum has entered into a new contract with DHL for the distribution of plaster products from its site at Barrow upon Soar, Leicestershire. DHL will transport all deliveries from the site to customers across the UK, handling up to 130 full loads a day.
