Contract wins and investment in infrastructure led to revenues at Expect Distribution increasing by 13.6% in 2019.
In its latest financial results, the Bradford logistics firm said revenues from its distribution activities rose by 7.24% to £27.1m for the year ending 30 November 2019, assisted by two further wins in its contract division.
Its warehousing achieved year-on-year growth of 56.1% and the opening of its new 200,000 sq ft Woodlands warehouse during the period helped the firm secure a further two long-term contracts.
Overall turnover was £32.2m, with pre-tax profits up 24.4% to £1.8m.

In its business review, the company, which is also a member of the Palletline network, said: “The year was one of investment both in people and infrastructure.
“Expect recognise that staff development and their welfare is at the forefront of a successful business and the company offers many opportunities to their employees to develop their career path within warehousing and distribution.
“We continue to attract new recruits to the industry through the company’s apprentice scheme, now in its eighth year and it is pleasing to see apprentices progressing through the business from the training skills developed under the scheme.”
