Europa Worldwide Group has launched a programme 'to nurture talent' in a move aimed at retaining staff.
Although the firm’s staff turnover is around 8% lower than the industry average of 26% a year according to the firm, it is aiming to cut attrition rates even further through its talent nurture programme.
Led by the firm’s newly appointed head of talent Laura Watkin, the programme will include training, coaching, mentoring and early career management.
Other elements of the programme include succession planning and the launch of attrition policies such as exit interviews to understand why staff leave. There are also plans to improve staff benefits.

Watkin will also oversee Europa’s Rapid Career Development Programme (RCDP), launched in March this year, which aims to fast track young people into senior leadership roles within four years of joining the organisation.
Carl Potter, human resources and facilities director, said: “Investment to bring on board the very best, and keep on board the very best, is imperative to us. We are an intelligent and open-minded company, and our talent nurturing practices reflect this.”
