Europa Worldwide Group has purchased some of the trade and assets of Menzies Response for an undisclosed sum.
Menzies Response is a fulfilment and warehouse management service and will be integrated into Europa’s warehouse division.
The deal includes Menzies’ warehouse in Rushden, Northamptonshire and a contact centre in Ashford, Kent.
Europa’s warehouse division already has facilities in Dartford, Birmingham and Northampton.
It is the group’s second purchase after Continental Cargo Carriers last year.

Europa’s MD Andrew Baxter (pictured) said: “The acquisition is a great start to the year for Europa, further adding to our growing portfolio.
“The Menzies’ assets are a perfect fit with Europa Warehouse and our aim is to strengthen, develop and grow the business.”
Europa will take over the existing customer base of the acquired business and 90 employees.
“Our prior experience makes us well placed to deal with the subtle process of integrating new businesses into our group and I look forward to welcoming Menzies Response’s staff to our team,” Baxter said.
Menzies Response’s Ashford contact centre provides customer care via telephone, email, social media and website contact forms and will be rebranded as Europa Contact Centre.
Europa Warehouse director, Maria Torrent-March, said: “We are confident that now is the right time to expand and we know we have the right skills and ability to grow the Menzies Response business.”
