Culina Group is continuing its run of new contracts after winning a three-year deal with Sacla' UK.
The contract cements a 30-year relationship with the Italian pesto and pasta sauce company, and Culina Group will continue to deliver Sacla' UK’s warehousing and distribution operations, which it has been doing since 1990.
This latest deal follows a string of contract wins totalling more than £130m including deals with Pepsico, Mondelez, Emmi, Jack Links (Peperami), Friesland Campina, General Mills, Nestle, and two own label juice manufacturers.
Culina Logistics is also extending its UK network of seven specialist chilled logistics distribution centres with next year's opening of a £38m multi-logistics centre as part of plans to expand its chilled logistics division.
Culina Group CEO Thomas van Mourik said: “I am proud Sacla' UK has signed up to work with us at Culina for another three years. It gives me a good feeling about how Culina Group is moving forward in 2017”, adding that the group had “witnessed exceptional growth particularly over the past couple of years”.
Sacla’ supply chain manager Vince Piazza said: “Our logistics supply chain is a key aspect to the success of our business. The long-term working relationship with Culina is testament to the trust and confidence built over many years of working together.”
