Clipper Logistics has secured two contracts: one with luggage brand Antler and another with camping-equipment retailer Go Outdoors.
The operator will provide worldwide warehousing and distribution for Antler from its Wynyard Park, Teesside site.
The contract will involve collection from Teesport and handling all order fulfillment for Antler’s customers, which include wholesalers, high street retailers and online retailers.
Clipper’s operations director Derek Hunt said: “Antler are an exciting addition to our multi-user operations at Wynyard Park and we are delighted to introduce another customer to benefits of a portcentric logistics model.
“Our approach for Antler will look to remove complexity and risk from the supply chain process whilst offering their business and retail customers a first class experience.”
Go Outdoors
Clipper has also won a new contract to manage e-fulfillment for camping and outdoor activities brand Go Outdoors from the operator’s Burton-on-Trent shared user site.
The deal will see it manage home deliveries, as well as its click and collect service from Go Outdoors’ 47 stores across the UK.
Clipper said the Burton-on-Trent site has the capacity to allow Go Outdoors’ online retail business to grow.
Go Outdoors web operations manager Nic Farrell said: “The service will provide a streamlined and systematic solution for our click and collect service as well as our home delivery option, across a diverse range of products. This puts GO Outdoors in a great position to support further planned growth of multichannel shopping.”
Go Outdoors' high street store fulfillment is managed by Advanced Supply Chain.
Clipper Logistics last year acquired German logistics firm R Geist Spedition.
