Medical and industrial cleaning products manufacturer Ecolab has awarded a contract for the storage of up to 12,000 pallets to Norbert Dentressangle.

ND will store Ecolab’s chemicals at its Top Tier COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) regulations-compliant site at Trafford Park, Manchester, where it will receive  around 1,900 pallets a week from Ecolab’s UK manufacturing site in Cheadle Hulme and its European distribution centre in Genk, Belgium; and pick and dispatch up to 1,600 deliveries a week destined for customers throughout the UK.

The new operation, which replaces five in-house warehouses previously used by Ecolab, extends a longstanding relationship between the two parties that dates back to the mid-1990s and already includes UK distribution of bulk and packaged chemicals and the cleaning and reconditioning of intermediate bulk containers (IBCs).
