MAN Truck & Bus UK has announced the departure of its CEO, Des Evans, following recent illness.
Evans, who has been credited with many significant advances in the UK business at MAN, held the position of UK CEO for a decade, with the exception of a short break in 2010 when he was promoted to head of business development – truck sales northern Europe. He returned to the role of UK CEO later the same year, however.
Evans’ duties will be undertaken with immediate effect by the board of directors until a suitable successor is found.
