Infrastructure providers are concerned that they cannot deliver the government’s roads improvement strategy (RIS), according to the findings in a CBI/AECOM survey. Another member of quality benchmarking scheme Fors has had its wrists slapped in a public inquiry (PI).
Operators will be charged for Fors membership from later this year, although the exact cost has not yet been revealed.
The Fors Community Partnership has described the elevation of one of its silver members to gold status, just as the Upper Tribunal confirmed the firm’s O-licence should be suspended for drivers’ hours and tachograph offences, as “unfortunate timing”.
