Drivers at Eddie Stobart’s Doncaster DC have voted for strike action, in response to the operator’s announcement last week that it would be making them redundant. Unite says more than 150 drivers, from a total of 183, voted for strike action at the site that was previously part of Tesco’s distribution network. Harriet Eisner, Unite regional office, said: “Unite is still in talks with Eddie Stobart, but the management remains intransigent that it wants to get rid of the drivers. […]
