Goodyear claims fleets of 50 trucks or more could save £210,000 in fuel costs annually by using its recently launched Fuelmax fuel efficient truck tyre.
The truck tyre range is now available across Europe and features its Fuelmax S steer tyres, Fuelmax D drive tyres, and Fuelmax T trailer tyres.
Goodyear claims that, if used in place of a same-sized D-grade tyre, operators can save around £4,000 a year in fuel costs per truck by using the tyres.
Both the steer and trailer tyre ranges have received an A- grade in fuel efficiency according to EU tyre label regulations.
Adam Stanton, commercial marketing manager at Goodyear Dunlop Tyres Europe, said: “We are proud to introduce the first A-graded steer tyre on the market.”
