Confectionery manufacturer Fini Sweets has outsourced its warehousing and distribution in the UK to Palletways’ warehousing business Palletways Fulfilment.
The contract will be ran out of the network’s 100,000ft² hub in Fradley Park, Lichfield, where it will store perishable products, process orders, pick and pack orders, and modify and re-work some of Fini’s brands.
Products including marshmallows, jellies and liquorice will then be distributed to retailers and wholesalers across the UK via its UK-wide delivery network.
Fini will use Palletways’ Webstock system for monitoring stock levels, tracking individual consignments and quality control.
Palletways Fulfilment general manager Garry Curtis said: “Working with a number of international manufacturers of perishable products, we fully understand the importance of timely and efficient deliveries and look forward to bringing this expertise to bear for Fini Sweets.”
