cv show crowds

Last week’s CV Show was a success for both exhibitors and organisers, with attendance figures up 11.6% on 2012’s show.

The show organisers said the event was a strong indication of the health of the industry, with over 18,000 attendees and more than 430 exhibitors.

Daf, which unveiled the new CF and LF at the show, was pleased with the reaction it got from visitors.

Marketing director Tony Pain said: “We believe it was possibly our most successful CV Show ever. We were inundated with visitors and enquiries, particularly on the Tuesday and Wednesday. It also gave us a great opportunity to showcase the worldwide launch of two thirds of our product range.”

Citroën head of commercial vehicles and business centre programme, Scott Michael, said: “The 2013 CV Show was another great success for Citroën with a good mix of visitors representing both large fleets and SME companies. As ever, Citroën found the show to be an excellent way of reaching its customer base.”
