Contract hire provider Vertellus has appointed Rhian Burrell as MD, just over a year after joining the firm as head of marketing.
The company has also promoted Nick Parker to sales director from business development director and former MD Nigel Baxter moves into the role of chairman.
Vertellus said Burrell had focused on embedding herself fully within the business over the last 12 months and her appointment reflected her impact to date and the confidence of the shareholders in her leadership.
She has also been closely connected to Vertellus since its inception, having played a pivotal role in the creation and launch of the brand in 2022 while running her own marketing consultancy.
Burrell said: “The last year at Vertellus has been about much more than a job title.
“It’s been about truly understanding the business from the inside and seeing first-hand the impact we can have for our customers when strategy and delivery align.
