Suttons Tankers appoints David Heath as head of fuels and powders

Suttons Tankers has recruited David Heath to the position of head of fuels and powders, as it continues to drive growth in both sectors.

Heath brings more than 25 years’ experience in senior management positions to his new post as well as his knowledge and expertise in fuels and powders, which Suttons said will be a key driver in achieving the business’ growth strategy.

Heath joins Suttons Tankers from XPO Logistics Europe where he was the account director of fuels. Other previous posts include managing director of Montgomery Tanks Services, distribution director at Clugston Distribution, account director at TDG and general manager at Wincanton.

In his new role Heath will focus on strengthening existing customer relationships, while also expanding in these areas with new business growth.

He will also aim to reinforce Suttons’ reputation in the market as a supplier of choice based on its high levels of safety and best in class customer service.
