Refrigerated vehicle hire giant Petit Forestier has hired Barrie Javens as its MD in the UK.

He replaces Neale Brothwood who it said had stepped down from the position for personal reasons.

However, Brothwood will remain with the business in a directorship capacity.

The company said Javens brought a wealth of logistics industry and consulting experience, where he has effectively managed various business divisions.

He said: “I am truly honoured and excited to take on the role of managing director for Petit Forestier United Kingdom.

“Petit Forestier is a renowned leader in the refrigerated asset rental sector and I am committed to building on the strong foundation laid by my predecessor, Neale.”

The group expressed its gratitude to Brothwood for his hard work and dedication during his tenure and said he would continue to play a crucial role in the UK management team.
