Palletline has appointed two new directors to its board.
Former head of strategic development Glenn Baker, who joined the network last year, will take the role of network director. His 30 year career in road transport has also included senior roles at both Palletways and Norbert Dentressangle (now XPO Logistics).
Baker said he is “committed to ensuring Palletline maintains its position as the premier pallet network with a keen focus on quality and efficiency”.
Palletline MD Graham Leitch said: “The decision to appoint Glenn Baker as network director represents Palletline’s commitment to prioritising key areas of operational sustainability and service maintenance for the membership and their customers”
Palletline has also appointed Mark McColl as financial director.
McColl joined the company as an interim employee in September 2015, but will formally assume the role on 1 June.
