Pall-Ex has described its new 3PL division as a ‘game-changer’ for the freight community, enabling members to target new business opportunities.

Working alongside its two successful UK pallet networks, Pall-Ex Logistics will offer 250,000 storage spaces across more than 100 vetted and audited member locations.

Each location can supply short or long-term storage, fulfilment and distribution solutions for customers during peak seasons or as a complete 3PL partner.

The core of the new division lies in its storage facilities, Pall-Ex said, with its flagship warehouse based in Northampton. Each location offers ambient, chilled, frozen, external, and bonded solutions, meaning Pall-Ex can store a wide variety of products to exact specifications.

Pall-Ex warehouse and logistics director Carl White, who is spearheading the launch at Multimodal in June, said: “Pall-Ex Logistics’ 3PL network opens a wealth of new opportunities as we evolve to become more than a pallet network. By integrating storage, fulfilment and logistics under one umbrella, we’re offering a robust solution that will enable us to expand into new markets.”

Added MD Barry Byers: “Innovation is part of our culture and we have identified the synergy of overlaying our 3PL Network onto our express palletised freight networks.

“As a result, our shareholder members across the UK are now enjoying new business opportunities and are able to compete for business that was out of reach. Pall-Ex Logistics will offer market-leading solutions to businesses who require multi-location storage or strategically placed locations in any part of the UK and Europe to easily supply their customers.

“This is a real game-changer for the industry as it opens previously un-tapped storage options which are supported by Pall-Ex’s expertise and cutting-edge technology.”
