Warrington-based logistics company Eagle One Delivery Limited has called in the administrators, joining a growing list of logistics companies filing insolvency notices this month.

The company appointed administrator Situl Devji Raithatha of insolvency practioner Springfields Advisory LLP on 16 April.

The delivery company, which was launched in 2020, specialised in international transport, freight forwarding, warehousing, and storage.

Eagle One Delivery Limited, which operated from Appleton Thorn Trading Estate in Warrington, has an operating licence for 12 trucks and 15 trailers. Surrender of the licence is currently under consideration, according to the government’s vehicle operator licensing site.

This latest administration is part of a string of insolvencies in the logistics sector over the past month, which has prompted calls by hauliers for greater government action to support the sector
