TVS Interfleet has won a £2.3m contract to supply 52 new concrete mixers to Hanson UK.
The deal involves the vehicle body manufacturer’s stable brand, McPhee Mixers, deliver the units over the next few months and will be completed by the end of the first quarter.
TVS said the contract was won following “a hard-fought tender process” and it showed that the bodybuilder had a deep understanding of Hanson’s requirements, including the ability to centralise the spec across all depot sites.
The mixers will feature new livery and be branded as Heidelberg Materials, as Hanson transitions to its new brand identity.
Lindsey Rudd, TVS Interfleet industrial sales director, said: “Winning the new Hanson contract was a big moment for TVS Interfleet, as it shows our ability to deliver quality mixers at competitive prices and also both understand and then deliver the needs of our customers.
“McPhee and Hanson have worked together for many years and this latest contract win further extends the union between two powerhouses of the industry.”
