Evri has forged a partnership with flexible benefits platform Onsi, which is open to all of the parcel delivery firm’s 25,000-plus self-employed couriers.
The move is aimed at attracting and retaining the company’s couriers and comes ahead of Evri’s busy recruitment period, ahead of the peak delivery season.
The benefits package provided under the partnership, which is open to new and existing couriers from the moment they join, is in addition to the company’s existing benefits scheme and is free of charge.
Evri couriers will have two main new benefits provided by Onsi. These are Wellbeing, which offers couriers benefits like Digital GP, Digital Physio and support for mental health, finances, and family, and Discounts, which provides couriers with deals to save on everyday expenses, including nine major supermarkets and fuel discounts.
So far, the most popular deals have been fuel and supermarkets including Tesco, Shell, Aldi, Asda and Sainsbury’s, Evri said.
Gary Robinson, Evri final mile director, said: ”Our couriers are at the heart of our business, and we recognise the importance additional benefits from platforms like Onsi can make to their work and home life.
”As our business continues to grow, it’s an exciting time to join us and become a courier, working flexibly around other commitments.”
An Onsi spokesperson, said: “At Onsi, we have a vision of a world of work where everyone wins. Being able to provide Evri couriers with benefits to protect their physical and financial wellbeing is a core part of our mission.
”We are delighted to welcome Evri to Onsi and looking forward to our partnership.”
