Parcel delivery firm Evri has seen off rivals to win a new one-year partnership with car part supplier Euro Car Parts in a deal that boosts customer service by offering “significantly” later order cut-off times.
Under the new contract Euro Car Parts customers will be able to place orders late into the evening for next-day delivery, translating into an additional five hours of daily selling time for Euro Car Parts with a next-day delivery promise.
The partnership will also introduce a click-and-collect option and is looking at integrating out of home delivery options to Evri ParcelShops and Lockers in the future.
Euro Car Parts will also benefit from Evri’s investment in electric vehicles and low and zero carbon delivery solutions which will help reduce the environmental impact of the suppliers’ last-mile deliveries.
Ryan Norris, Evri sales director, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Euro Car Parts and facilitate their growth plans by offering later cut off times for their consumers.
“This collaboration will allow us to leverage our extensive delivery network and we are confident that this partnership will be mutually beneficial.”
