Nightline Logistics has joined the Fortec Distribution Network as it seeks to enter the next phase of growth.
The Nuneaton-based firm will serve Fortec customers in Coventry, parts of Warwickshire, including Nuneaton, Rugby, Leamington, Warwick, and Tamworth in Staffordshire.
This is the first time Nightline, which also operates a satellite depot in Glasgow, has been part of a pallet network.
“We chose Fortec as we wanted to go for a quality network rather than the biggest," said Kerry Williams, director of Nightline.
“Much of our work involves dealing with worldwide brands in the agricultural and motor industries and we also specialise in materials handling. I had previously been reluctant to hand over my freight but we are increasingly finding that customers no longer want to use four or five different carriers.
Neil Hodgson, MD of Fortec, said: “Nightline is joining the network at a crucial time in our development but its approach and work ethic makes it an ideal candidate for joining the Fortec ‘family’."
Williams added: “Fortec and its licensees have an excellent reputation in the industry and meeting with Neil gave me complete confidence that Fortec and its network of licensees had a complete understanding of what I was looking for.
"By joining the network we can broaden our own offering, effectively creating a one-stop shop for existing and new customers," she added.
Established just four years ago Nightline Logistics has grown to a company with a 50-strong workforce, operating a fleet of 40 vehicles, and with turnover expected to reach £4.5m this year.
