Newell and Wright Transport is spreading some Christmas spirit by purchasing thousands of pounds of toys and crafts to be distributed to children in the care of Rotherham social services.
Stephen Newell, operations director, said: “We did this last year and it meant so much to the families and children that need it most that we wanted to continue to spread a little happiness for them again, we take our social and corporate responsibility very seriously.”
The goodies will be handed over to the borough council’s multi agency safeguarding hub (MASH), which is the front door for children’s social care and early help in the area.
