Horticulture transport providers White Logistics & Storage and Bleach of Lavant have merged, saying together they can give customers greater coverage and more flexibility.

The merged businesses will operate a fleet of 190 vehicles out of Bleach’s hub near Arundel and White Logistics’ HQ in Pershore, Worcestershire.

Along with White’s sister company RGF Logistics, it said the total group will exceed 300 vehicles and would make it one of the UK’s most well-resourced logistics networks.

White Logistics’ 17-acre site in Pershore includes 172,000sq ft of modern warehouse space, including 56,000sq ft currently under construction.

It also features a dedicated Danish trolley transhipment area, establishing it as a vital hub for horticultural logistics and national distribution.

Both companies intend to retain their individual identities, with Graeme White (pictured right) continuing as chief executive of White Logistics and Gary Paget (left) remaining Bleach MD.

In a statement, the companies said that the merger brought together “two well-respected operators with deep roots in the horticultural supply chain.”

White said: “This is a union of two like-minded businesses, both committed to quality, service, and long-term partnerships.

“Together, we’ll offer broader coverage, more flexibility, and even greater value to our customers.”

Phil Rodrigues, group CFO, added: “This acquisition will give Bleach’s customers access to a highly scaled and technologically advanced logistics partner, supported by a dedicated customer service team.”

The group added that the transition was being carefully managed to enable business as usual for customers and suppliers.
