Jon Barber joins APC board of directors

APC Overnight founding member MD, Jon Barber, has joined the network’s board of directors less than a year after his latest firm, Delivered, was established.

Barber joins the board with over 30 years of experience in the industry and his appointment marks his second directorial position at APC, with the first lasting between 2008- 2011.

Barber was a founding member of the network under his previous firm, Scarlet Couriers, when APC began nearly 20 years ago. Thames Valley-based Scarlet Couriers was sold to CitySprint last year and subsequently Barber’s new firm, Delivered, joined the network.

He said: “I am really pleased to be re-joining the APC Overnight board at such an exciting time in the company's development- particularly with its state-of-the-art national sortation centre set to open this summer. I have been extremely impressed by the achievements of the network over the last 18 months and hope to play a part in its continued success over the months and years to come.”
