Palletline member HMT Group has entered into a distribution contract with Havwoods Luxury Flooring – and achieved a 100% on-time in-full delivery (OTIF).

The contract is being supported by Palletline London, with it providing two trucks distributing Havwoods products on a daily basis in the Greater London area and the remaining work split between HMT’s fleet and the Palletline network for UK and Ireland distribution.

Palletline said the OTIF figure was almost unprecedented in the industry and represented the high expectations Havwoods has for its logistics partners.

Mark Gallagher, HMT Group GM, said: “We’re incredibly pleased that Havwoods has put their trust in us to deliver its luxury flooring and through our collaborative working practice with Palletline London we have developed a truly bespoke, high-end service to match.

“We will continue to review the service level we provide, ensuring we’re meeting or exceeding our KPI promises, but are also consistently adding additional value to Havwoods’ supply chain needs.”

Havwoods said it was “ecstatic” with the results being achieved by the two hauliers: “We had been searching for over four years to find a delivery partner that could meet our standards and fulfil the premium service expectations that both we and our high-profile clientele demand,” explained its operations manager Ian Titterington.
