Dawsongroup truck and trailer has promoted James Hunter (pictured) to head of sales.
Hunter, who has been with the rental and leasing firm for three years, developed Dawsondirect, the remarketing side of the business.
The company said he retains that role and now takes on responsibility for a team of around 20 people handling all sales across its truck and trailer operations.
He said: “Dawsongroup truck and trailer is big enough to make its presence felt in the market, but we prove time and again that we’re still agile enough to deliver quickly and competitively for customers.
“We’ve a strong sales team in place already, and my role will be to develop the strategic approach to market, enabling and bringing all our key people together as a single effective unit.”
