Well-established Stockton-on-Tees container haulier NT Whitfield (Transport) has entered administration.
The company held a licence for 35 HGVs and 80 trailers and operated out of a four-acre site on Portrack Lane in Stockton-on-Tees.
It was formed in 1981 and had grown to provide a range of haulage, warehousing and logistics services, but the main part of the business was UK container transport of exports and imports.
It employed around 30 staff.

Insolvency practitioners at FRP Advisory were appointed to the firm on 9 September, but none were available for comment.
NT Whitfield directors Ian and Heather Smallman did not respond.
