Clipper Logistics Group has been awarded a contract with Wilkinson to handle its internet sales operation.
It has been offering a range of customer delivery options for the retailer, including home delivery and click and collect from store, since the contract began in early autumn.
The retail logistics provider will service the contract out of its e-fulfilment centre in Ollerton, Notts, with Wilkinson taking up 110,000ft² of space in the new 150,000ft² extension completed earlier this year.
Clipper managing director Tony Mannix said: “As a UK leader in retail logistics we’re perfectly placed to aid Wilkinson’s offering. Retailers are increasingly seeing the value of an online presence and by combining our ability and Wilkinson’s reputation for quality and value, we’re confident we can deliver a great customer experience.”
In the first month, Clipper handled almost a quarter of a million items for the retailer.
