London-based haulier Trans UK is expanding its services to include local, national and international pallet delivery after joining both Pall-Ex and Fortec.
The company, which has its headquarters in Peckham, will deliver to a number of SE and E postcodes within central London.
Paul Wilson, Trans UK sales director, added: “We decided to join Pall-Ex Group because of the brilliant reputation they have built across the UK for offering a quality service, something that is very important to us.
“The shareholder model is perfect for us as it rewards and reflects the efforts each shareholder puts into making the network the first choice for pallet delivery.”
Craig Chapman, head of network for the South for both Pall-Ex and Fortec, said: “As existing members of a parcel network, Trans UK were looking to diversify and take on a pallet distribution operation, which exactly mirrored our requirements.
“Contact was initially made in late 2021, since then it has been a pleasure working with Richard, Ian and Paul in getting the agreement finalised.
“With many years of industry experience combined between the three directors, we are delighted to secure such a prestigious business into our network who will add strength and presence to the South East London region.

The pallet network said that the Trans UK Peckham location puts the company in “a prime position to offer a quality service to a notoriously challenging part of the capital”.
