Palletways has promoted John Watson (pictured) to the role of business development manager at its Livingston hub as part of a drive to grow business north of the border.
Watson first joined Palletways’ telesales team in 2008, before he progressed to operations manager.
He also worked on the launch of Palletways Iberia network in Spain, before leaving the pallet network in 2017 to work in recruitment consulting at Connect Appointments and then as a district manager at restaurant reservation platform Quandoo.

He returned to Palletways as the commercial support manager in June 2021 and has now been promoted to business development manager at the Livingston hub.
Watson will report to senior general manager Vanda Roberts, who said: “John is a great addition to the team who will support our business to become stronger. His experience in the logistics sector – and particularly within the Palletways Group – will be a huge asset to the Livingston team and we’re delighted he’s returned.”
