Europa Worldwide Group has promoted Europa Road’s northern regional sales manager to the role of branch network and sales director .

Adrian Redmile (pictured) replaces Dionne Redpath, who has taken on the post of chief operating officer. His new role sees him take on responsibility for sales at its freight division Europa Road, leading a team of 218 staff across 13 local branches.

One of Redmile’s first tasks will be to boost Europa Road’s sales team by 60%, by taking on another 30 account managers to add to the current 50-strong team.

Redmile’s promotion follows almost eight years with the firm. In his previous post he managed seven local branches.

The company said the new account managers will help onboard clients at a faster rate which it added is necessary due to increasing demand for its customs service Europa Flow.

Redmile said: “I’m delighted to be able to lead the growing Europa Road sales team. Having local branch offices is an important part of our core strategy so that we have local teams, with local knowledge who can actively support our customers with their road freight requirements. There are lots of exciting things happening at Europa Road as we move into our next phase of growth.”
