Marshall Fleet Solutions (MFS) has recruited a new sales director, Ian Smith (pictured), who will head up the department covering Thermo King transport refrigeration equipment sales and service.
Prior to joining MFS, Smith was national sales manager at Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions and before that, he undertook a number of senior sales roles including head of Northgate fleet management and key sales roles at FMG and Lex Autolease.

He joins a seven-person board of directors at MFS and, as well as heading up the fleet management sales team, he will also work closely alongside the other executive directors.
Mark Howell, MFS MD, said: “Ian is joining the business at an exciting time as we progress through our transformation and embark on an ambitious programme of business growth and sustainability.”
The previous sales director, Michael Kane, has moved across the business to a new position of strategy director.
