Abacus

Abacus Transport has re-joined The Hazchem Network just months after leaving.

The Hemel Hempstead haulier will cover central and north west London, which the network said were a natural fit for its deliveries and collections.

Abacus MD Martin Baxter said re-joining was a “a very easy decision”.

“The team here at Abacus Transport are excited to re-join the Hazchem Network," he said. "The Abacus team are committed to excellent service and we look forward to working in partnership with the Hazchem Network and all of our new partners within the network."

The company has been operating for over 30 years and runs a fleet of 40 HGVs and 35 ADR drivers.

Rob Symes, MD of The Hazchem Network, said Abacus left the network at the end of 2019 on good terms and “for no particular reason”.

He added: “We are delighted to welcome Abacus back to the network. They will strengthen our service levels in London and ensure that all customers’ needs are met in this area.”
